Overview
Dr Thomas Livestock Consultants was founded in March 2022 by Dr C. S. Thomas as a natural extension of his illustrious career in the dairy industry. The DrTLC is an OPC with limited liability.
DrTLC are:
- experts in mechanization and automation of dairy production and farm operations with special reference to buffaloes.
- experts in planning, designing and execution of Large Dairy Farm projects. They have executed several projects in India, Venezuala, Columbia and Pakistan.
- experts in milk shed development. We worked in a number projects with local co-operatives and the private sector in India. We conducted audits of livestock productivity and milk quality. We developed tailor-made improvement programs with specific time-bound targets to improve productivity and milk quality through improved feeding, breeding and management.
- master trainers who train trainers to improve milk production. We conducted a number of seminars and courses to extension officers, staff of dairy departments, and students in different locations in India and abroad.
- experts in setting up new Artificial Insemination (AI) networks. This includes all aspects of logistics: setting up semen stations, warehouses, distribution channels, station management,and semen & embryo import procedures.
- experts in the creation and operation of green field projects in genetic improvement.
